Broadway seconds hosted Earlswood III, invited the visitors to bat first and made early inroads with youngster McDonagh (3-32) prominent. They continued to pick up wickets at regular intervals with Carenza, Marsden and Smith each snaring a couple and dismissed them for 134. Broadway were largely untroubled in completing an eight wicket victory with captain Wheeler maintaining an impressive start to the season with 66no, complimented by Marsden 32no, who produced a fine all round display on the day. |
