Juniors update
Posted by Nobody on 18 May 2015
On Sunday the under 13s team continued a very good weekend for Broadway with a 57 run victory over Elmley Castle.
Playing in the pairs format (where you bat for four overs per pair, and lose runs per wicket lost) Elmley Castle finished on a score of 211, and in reply Broadway finished on 268.
This represents a good start to the season for the junior side. Junior training night continues on Friday evenings from 6pm, all are welcome to attend regardless of cricketing experience. Parents are welcome to stop, the bar will be open.
We are also pleased to annouce that Oliver Timperley has been selected to play for the Worcester South District in his age group. Oliver has made his league debut for the adult Broadway side this year, and comes from a good Broadway cricketing heritage: Bill Bailey is his grandfather !
