Pre-Season training

Broadway CC begin their preparations for the 2012 season this weekend, when the senior squad begin indoor nets at Prince Henry's Sports Hall (Sunday 7pm - 8pm)
The players have enjoyed a long break since the beginning of September & hopefully have maintained their Core fitness over the winter break.
The 1st XI will this season be captained officially by Gary Evans, following his stint as stand in captain last season. Adam Smallman the bowling all-rounder has been appointed vice-captain.
2 winter signings have so far been announced, with the club hoping to do more Business before the transfer window closes.
Jamie Anderson, the leg-spinning all-rounder rejoins following a season with Evesham. Jamie has spent part of the winter in South Africa working on his game & Left-arm seamer and middle order batsman Richard Pedley has signed from Evesham Henricians, after being pursued by Director of Cricket, Barry Clements, for a couple of seasons.
Batsman James Martin will be unavailable this summer, as the club have sent him to Australia on a year long loan deal to gain valuable 1st team experience.
The 2nd XI will again be captained by Steve Wheeler, with Carlo Carenza as vice captain.
