Tickets still available for end of season dinner

Tickets are still available for the clubs end of season dinner at Broadway Golf Club on Saturday the 29th September.
Following the success of last years event, the plan for this years event is set to follow quite a similar format. There will once again be a 3-course meal, the guest speaker will be BBC Radio 5's Pat Murphy and there will be a comedian/compere hosting the evening.
The player of the year awards will be given out by Pat Murphy.
Despite the poor weather this summer, which perhaps distorted the league tables slightly with so many matches being cancelled, the club enjoyed a fairly successful season. The 1st XI finished 6th in the Premier Division, whilst the 2nd XI finished 5th in Division 5. The annual match against the Presidents XI, and the bi-annual match against the Artists XI (to co-incide with the Arts festival) were also a success (despite the results), with fine (dry) Weather on both occasions.
