Wheeler to continue as 2nd XI captain

Steve Wheeler has confirmed that he is going to stand again for second team captain at this years AGM.
Following a difficult season for both club captains, both Wheeler and club captain Gary Evans had announced their decision to relinquish the roles. However following lengthy discussions with new Director of Cricket, Barry Clements, Wheeler has performed a U-Turn and decided to continue for the 2014 season.
A successor to Evans has still yet to be named, with several players distancing themselves from the role.
The Club A.G.M is next Tuesday evening (3rd December), whilst this clashes with the indoor cricket league match, as many members as possible are asked to attend.
